<the story>
WARNING: as I mentioned earlier, this is gonna be an HORROR game, so it does contain disturbing topics, such as: murder, suicide, drugs and gore. Reminding you that I do not condone or support any of it. you have been warned!

with that said, let's start!

the story takes place in a small town somewhere in Michigan, precisely its college, inbetween the years of 2000/2004. Our protagonist is a classical music lover, college student and pianist, Owen. Owen is well known for his music and such, but lately his mental health hasn't been the best. He has a lot of problems that he hasn't yet figured out, plus college is surely exhausting for him.
One morning, on his way to the dorms, a strange looking guy stops him and shows him some really weird pills. "They're called Happy pills" he said. He said that they were going to help him out of his depression. The guy peer pressured owen as he was hesitant on accepting his offer, but in the end he decided to take them with him.
The next day the principal calls Owen in his office, worried for what has been happening to him recently. He offers Owen to join in one of the many clubs of the school to help him. Owen isn't a very social dude but he had to accept. After visiting many of the clubs, he finally decides to join the book club, where he meets the members Milo, Dominic, Da xia, Nik and Suzy. The next day, Owen is paired with someone in a group project. As socially anxious as he is, he decides to try out the so called "Happy pills".

nik convinces the book club to investigate on the murders to find out who the killer is, little does he realize the culprit might be even one of the members of the club.

Owen is the protagonist of the story!
he's an introverted pianist. He lived his childhood in an orphanage, he started playing the piano there. He used to make a lot of money before the incident, then he decided to take a break.

Nik | 18 Y. O. | BD: June 15th
Nicholas, or Nik for short, is the deputy leader of the book club!
he has a brother which he despises, he would do anything to be better than him in any way! he joined many of the clubs of the college only to surpass him. As you may have noticed he is very competitive, but he's also very nice to his friends!
after the incident happened and the club leader left, he became the new former club leader.

she's very well known for her money and fashion, especially amongst guys.
she had a lot of relationships in the past, but she never figured out the right person to be with..

Dominic is a member of the book club!
he isn't really sure how he ended up there, he just followed what Milo did.
he's always after some girl, he also has the fattest crush on da xia. Even though da xia doesn't seem to like him very much, he's still not giving up!

Milo is a member of the book club!
he isn't the type of guy who talks much; He prefers to read books rather than spend his precious time with other people. Him and Dominic (surprisingly) get along! they have been friends for a long period of time, even before the incident happened. He often helps out the idiot with his homework.

Suzanne, Suzy for friends is a member of the book club!
she's a very kind person with a golden heart! she is well known in the college thanks to her personality. Her passion is sewing, she sew her clothes all by herself!

Falcon, Nik's brother. Just like his little bro he's very competitive. Him and Nik haven't had seen eachother for a while before the incident. As a villain, Falcon's duty is to stop Nik from succeeding with his plans. Falcon might come off as cold and uncaring, but deep down, he probably cares for his brother.

Joelle | 19 Y. O. | BD: Jul 4th
Joelle is Falcon's partner in stopping Nik! They are kind and sensitive, they're also very responsible and often finds themselves having to put Falcon in his place. Joelle is the principal's child, although they don't have a very strong relationship with their father.

Alan has known owen since middle school/high school, during that time he used to make fun of him a lot, but he swears he's changed! or has he?

Esadowa | about 40-50 Y.O. | BD: Oct 23rd
Esadowa is a very well known detective in the area, and he was called in to investigate on the so called "incident". He's secretive and quiet, he had a tough past.

Olivia | about 20-30 Y.O. | BD: Sep 19th
Olivia is Esadowa's partner in the job. She is new at being a detective, she basically begged Esadowa to take her in. She loves her job and worked hard to make it to this point. She has a prostetic/robotic arm because of a car incident in her childhood where she also lost her mother.

these are all the characters I got to design and draw! there are a lot more I'd love to present, but I'm keeping them a surprise as for now ;)
